This is a Story of a People, a Place, and a Time for the small City of Ravenna in East-Central Kentucky – detailed and efficiently proposed by the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Company in the very early 1900’s. It was a platted and planned model community conceived primarily to support the railroad employees’ residential and commercial needs, while the adjacent railroad’s large Terminal facilities were being concurrently developed and subsequently operated.
